Domestic Shipping
All orders within Kenya and The East African Community will be delivered via G4S Courier Services or DHL. Shipping costs are included in our prices so there will be no need for additional shipping charges for domestic shipping.
International Shipping
International shipping will be via DHL for all customers outside East Africa and customers will be charged for shipping.
Import taxes & duties
For all markets outside East Africa, we do not pre-pay the duty payments or any import taxes so the customer will be required to pay any import taxes and duties in your country or state. However please check for more information on import taxes and duties in your country.
Returns and Exchanges
Free Return Policy
You may return any Honour Bags Manufacturing Company item for a full refund within 7 days of the date you receive your order, provided the product is not used or worn in any way and is in its original condition including tags, dust-bag and gift box. This is a completely free service regardless of where you live and we aim to make it as seamless as possible by working with DHL, G4S Courier Services and yourself to agree a suitable date and time for collection and return.
At our sole discretion, Honour Bags Manufacturing Company reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange of any merchandise that does not meet the requirements set forth under the terms and conditions.
We offer a flexible returns policy to ensure you receive an unrivalled shopping experience. However, if we notice that you have an unusually high returns rate, we may refuse your business at our discretion. If you feel your access or order has been incorrectly restricted, please get in touch with our Customer Care team, who will help to resolve the issue with you.
Return and Exchange Instructions
Please securely pack merchandise to be returned or exchanged in its original condition including tags, dust bag, gift box (if you received one) and original shipping box. Then just contact us quoting your order number and we’ll provide further detail and send necessary paperwork.
Refunds will usually be processed within 14 working days of the goods being received and checked by the team.
Product Care
Your Honour Bags Manufacturing Company bag is crafted from durable canvas, full-grain leather, versatile fabrics, and solid hardware. Follow these simple care instructions to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment and adventure with your bags
Canvas
To clean our cotton and other canvas, simply use a cloth or sponge, some natural soap and water then allow to dry at room temperature. Never machine wash. Do not leave the bag in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Leather
We only use quality leathers which will age beautifully over time and develop a unique patina. Due to the natural oils in the material, they do not need to be treated, and scuffs should buff out easily by rubbing with your thumb. If you want to use a leather conditioner, make sure it’s a natural, beeswax balm that doesn’t include any harmful chemicals.
Nylon
Our nylon is colour fast and fully backed, making it waterproof. To clean it, use natural soap and warm water then let it air dry naturally.
Suede
Our suede will naturally darken over time as it develops its own patina according to your use. Use a suede brush to remove any debris, and a suede rubber for any marks, followed by another thorough brushing. You can use a suede protection spray periodically to help prevent marks, but it is not a necessity, particularly if you want a more worn in feel to your bag.
Hardware
We only use solid hardware, which will develop a more aged look through regular use. If you want to clean or prefer shiny appearance, please use good quality polishes, taking care not to apply any to the canvas or leather which may cause discolouration.
The dust bag
We appreciate the fact that keeping a bag inside another bag is taking matters seriously. We do however strongly advise storing your bag this way when not in use so that you maintain a pristine carry.
Repairs
All our products are made in Kenya by committed professionals, with the closest attention to detail and quality control being continuously implemented.
HBMC bags and carry are built to last and have been tested rigorously to make sure they last.
In the very rare occurrence that there is a manufacturing defect, please contact us and we will review then take swift action to resolve the issue.
Even if the piece is damaged through misuse we offer a repair service and can provide a quote to fix the bag in our Kenya based factory, and a timeline for doing so.
Our Lifetime Promise covers all products purchased directly from honourbagsmanufacturingcompany.com or partner retailers and off-line stockists. It does not cover second-hand bags purchased through a third-party re-seller and we will need proof of purchase before the item can be covered under this warranty.
